Gemma at the Bowery

Checked out at 12:15pm, and had about 3 hours to kill, before making our way to JFK, and yet another delayed AF flight, Paris-bound.

The one thing that needs to be done on any traveling day is to hike Bruno.
The idea is to tire him out, sort out all potty issues, as there is no assurance of grass for the next X hours.

I decide to spare him Dog Run Politics today, and reward him instead with, Sunday Brunch.

Gemma is located at the dog-friendly Bowery Hotel on 335 Bowery Road.
It's my preferred NYC hotel, especially if Jon is with me.

Gemma is one of those energetic neighborhood restaurants with (unremarkable) comfort food, patronised by the knowing Downtown Crowd.

It's kind of a see and be-seen sort of a place, even after all these years, and the dog/people-watching here is great.

It's a bit of a wait for a table.

So we practised new-airline-travel- bag training, in anticipation for the flight ahead.
